2024 State Convention: the Right Place at the Right Time

College shcolarships, Youth Track, and Families with Blind Children, were just some of the excitement in SeaTac, the last weekend in October. People were buying assistive technology from The A.T. Guys, signing up for libary service and music lessons, learning about Artifical Intelligence platform accessibility, etc. The Employment Panel was fabulous; hearing someone's journey to employment is awesome.

BeMyEyes is coming to the Ray Ban Meta Smart Glasses

Before the end of the year, you should be able to connect with a volunteer. This is just the first step in the collaboration between BeMyEyes and Meta.

Low Vision Clinic is open four days a week

The Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind, 2501 S. Plum Street, Seattle, is open by appointment. An optometrist and occupational therapist are on site, serving King County and surrounding counties. Call 206-426-2228. The store sells CCTVs, sun glasses, canes, and much more.

Each month, the Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is offering free interactive webinars with lots of tips on tech and skills that might help you on your career path.
